چکیده
Abstract In this work, we propose a mathematical model to depict the conversion of groundwater flow from confined unconfined aquifers. The problem occurs due heavy pumping aquifers over time, which later leads depletion an aquifer system. phenomenon is interesting one, hence several models have been developed and used capture process. However, one can point out that has limitations its own, as it cannot effect fractures exist in aquitard. Therefore, suggest where classical differential operator based on rate change substituted by non-conventional including represent processes following power law memory effect. Moreover, revise properties aquitard evaluate behaviors during process different setting. Numerical analysis was performed new numerical solutions were obtained, well simulations for various fractional order values.

Mathematical Model of Unsteady Groundwater Flow Through Aquifers and Calibration Via a Non-Linear Optimization Technique
In this study, the general partial differential equation of unsteady groundwater flow through non-homogeneous and anisotropic aquifer was solved by the fully implicit finite difference method with control volume approach. The calibration of permeability and storage coefficients as model parameters was performed by a transformation technique and application of Powell's non-linear optimization me...
متن کاملA new package in MODFLOW to simulate unconfined groundwater flow in sloping aquifers.
The nonhorizontal-model-layer (NHML) grid system is more accurate than the horizontal-model-layer grid system to describe groundwater flow in an unconfined sloping aquifer on the basis of MODFLOW-2000. However, the finite-difference scheme of NHML was based on the Dupuit-Forchheimer assumption that the streamlines were horizontal, which was acceptable for slope less than 0.10. In this study, we...

An inverse method is developed to simultaneously estimate multiple hydraulic conductivities, source/sink strengths, and boundary conditions, for two-dimensional confined and unconfined aquifers under non-pumping or pumping conditions. The method incorporates noisy observed data (hydraulic heads, groundwater fluxes, or well rates) at measurement locations. With a set of hybrid formulations, give...
